The Board of Trustees of the Etiwanda School District is seeking an experienced and highly respected Superintendent to lead an academically strong, community-centered school district known for strong relationships, excellence in education, and a deeply rooted culture of care.

The Etiwanda School District (ESD) is a long-standing, highly regarded TK–8 school district serving nearly 14,000 students across 13 elementary schools and four intermediate schools. Established in 1883, the district has grown alongside its community while maintaining a strong commitment to
educational excellence, stability, and partnership. ESD is defined by professionalism, collaboration, and trust. Staff is deeply committed to student success and to one another,
reflecting pride in their work and loyalty to the district. Master’s degree or higher, and a valid California Administrative Services Credential
Minimum of five (5) years of successful district-level administrative experience
Experience with a public school district, with working knowledge of the California Education Code and accountability systems
Experience in TK–12 or elementary/intermediate education
A proven ability to work effectively with a governing board, district leadership team, labor partners, and educational partners in a collaborative and professional manner

The Cosca Group will conduct an initial screening of applicants and facilitate interviews with selected candidates. Finalists will be invited to interview with the Board of Trustees. The selection process may include opportunities for stakeholder input, as determined by the Board.
The Board anticipates appointing the next Superintendent following the completion of finalist interviews and successful contract negotiations. The successful candidate will be offered a multi-year contract with a competitive and negotiable salary and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
